I bought this book on spec to help a young teenager struggling with anxiety issues. It is absolutely BRILLIANT and exactly what I was looking for as well as being pitched absolutely perfectly for this age group! The book is beautifully laid out, straightforward, concise, engaging and usable (without the annoying Americanisms of many self help books! ) which is crucial as anything drawn out easily causes this age group to switch right off. It’s also perfect for a teenager to use on their own if necessary or in conjunction with a talking therapy. Am beyond delighted to have found this so easily and as a regular user of mindfulness and meditation myself, it totally surpasses my expectations as an introduction for this age group. A fantastic resource for any healthcare professional to recommend to a young or even older person!
