This pad contains four sheets each of the following colors — Dark Gray, Felt Gray, Steel Gray, Flannel Gray, Pearl, and Pearl Gray. **Q: Will this paper accept an alcohol wash for setting a pastel underpainting?** A: No. The paper is for pastel only. **Q: is this one sheet or several?** A: There’s 24 sheets 6 different shades. I like them. Have fun drawing. **Q: Is this good with charcoal Lack or colored? Is the surface rough or double sided?** A: It should work equally well with charcoals as with pastels. The paper seems to be the same texture on both sides. It has some "tooth" but is not rough.
