## Description

From the manufacturer More to see. More to conquer. As real as it gets: Aside from giving you strikingly realistic images, VESA DisplayHDR 600 with localized dimming, improves the contrast ratio with greater color depth, remarkable clarity and a reduced halo effect. Every color covered: IPS Nano Color technology is the cinema standard that offers wider color coverage than sRGB, enabling colors to be richer and more lifelike. Plus, it supports 95% DCI-P3 across a wide-viewing angle. Step inside: A 2300R curved screen with a 21:9 aspect ratio provides a truly immersive gaming experience by enhancing field of vision, while reducing distortion, glare and reflection. It also creates a truly immersive gaming experience by making use of peripheral vision. See every detail: Visuals come to life with a 37.5" curved WQHD+ display that offers 24% more screen pixels than WQHD (3440 x 1440) for a more expansive view. All of the speed. None of the blur. Remarkable clarity: NVIDIA G-SYNC ULTIMATE certification delivers smooth gaming and allows for brilliant HDR renderings with HDR capable games*. A smoother experience: Capitalize on a 144Hz high refresh rate and enjoy smoother, ultralow latency gameplay. Plus, with a true 1ms Gray to Gray response time, the pixels themselves change color almost instantaneously to eliminate motion blur. *In order to get the full NVIDIA G-SYNC ULTIMATE experience, users must ensure that the monitor is directly connected to the HDMI or DisplayPort on their PC. Be in command Win from any angle: A fully adjustable stand with height markers gives you more comfort, greater versatility and easier adjustability for an extended gaming session. Tilt, swivel, adjust and game on. Elevate your game: AlienFX allows for custom lighting and in-game lighting responsiveness. The Gaming OSD offers several gamer-centric options that helps you improve your performance and provide the best in-game advantage. ## Questions & Answers

**Q: Can someone confirm the dhdmi ports are in fact 2.1 rather than 2.0 as mentioned in the blurb? i am assuming they are as this is needed for 120hz.**
A: No. It predates 2.1. In fact at full resolution the aw38 will only do 85hz over hdmi. It uses displayport for 3840x1600@120hz

**Q: Does it come with hdmi 2.0 cable since it has a hdmi 2.0 port?**
A: Yes, this monitor comes with a HDMI 2.0 cable.

**Q: Does it come with built in speakers**
A: I purchased this monitor for my Partner along with a P.C. I purchase a set of Creative desk monitor speakers that plug into the PC motherboard. The specs do not show inbuilt speakers. You tube reviews also do not mention any in-built speakers either..

**Q: Would g-sync need to be turned off if using a radeon rx 6800 xt with this monitor?**
A: AMD cards don't support Gsync, but there's nothing on the monitor side to "turn off". You just won't be able to use G sync. That said it will report to the AMD driver as Freesync compatible, so you should be able to use that instead which is fundamentally the same thing.
