## Description

From the manufacturer Titanium Exhaust Heat Wrap with LR Technology DEI Titanium exhaust wrap, with LR Technology, is made from pulverized lava rock and stranded into a fiber material and woven into a proprietary weave. Titanium wrap is engineered to be stronger than most wraps and more durable for improved thermal performance and reliability, withstanding 1800-degree Fahrenheit direct heat and 2500-degree intermittent heat. It promotes increased flow for improved performance while reducing temperature and vibration breakdown. Perfect for any automotive or motorcycle application. Withstands 1800°F direct/2500°F intermittent heat Promotes increased flow for improved performance Reduces temperature & vibration breakdown Extremely pliable for a tight and secure wrap DEI HT Silicone Coating not required Pre-wetting roll not necessary for wrapping High resistance to abrasions, oil spills, temperatures and vibration breakdown Calculate the Wrap Needed Prior to wrapping, consult the material chart to make sure you have enough wrap before you begin. Wrapping a pipe takes time and concentration. The tighter the wrap the better the hold and less chance of a loose or irregular fit. Consider anchoring one end of the wrap as it will aid in a much tighter wrap which results in better heat isolation. Use a 1/4" Overlap Start wrapping the primary tube tightly at the exhaust port and secure it with a DEI Stainless Steel Locking Tie, hose clamp or safety wire. Testing has shown that utilizing a 1/4" overlap produces the best results without adversely affecting headers and tubing. Secure the Ends Where primary tubes become closer together, wrap both pipes as one while using the same 1/4" overlap. Proceed to wrap the collector securing the ends with DEI Stainless Steel Locking Ties.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Easy and very effective header wrap!

This stuff works so well that my car doesn't warm up as fast in the cold of Canadian winters. Easy to install (if a bit time consuming, but all header wrap is the same in that respect), and looks very attractive once installed. Under-hood temps are lower with my aftermarket header and this wrap than with OEM manifold and heat shields. I would definitely recommend this to anyone in need of good looking and effective header wrap. One thing to keep in mind though: it may be helpful to buy a roll of 1" wrap as well to do the runners that are in tighter spaces. Also, it should be noted that rather then buy the stainless zip ties from DEI, you can get them in the zip tie aisle at Canadian Tire for $6.00/10 ties. Thank me later for that little piece of advice!
