The clamps jaws are a bit bulky for some battery locations and size of lugs. But, with a bit of moving about You can get them to clamp on smallish battery terminals too. Review: Handy to have - Used this to start my 4040 JD tractor with poor starter and not so good batteries ,did suck the life out of it and did need a recharge afterward but it did the job . Also used to start my CAT backhoe with bad battery ,starts a gas pickup no problem at all . Would rather have the cables hard wired to the unit instead of the two prong connector and cables could be a little longer .
