PXP Racewear, Fire Resistant Racing Hood, Head Sock, Balaclava has flat interlock seams for comfort, and long skirt so it stays tucked in. This hood is two layers of Kermel/Lenzing FR fabric which has high TPP (thermal protective properties). It is inherently fire resistant and solution dyed so it is fade resistant. The fabric is soft yet durable. Retains it shape and is moisture wicking. PXP Racewear specializes in safety apparel for the Auto Racing and Industrial Safety industries. Along with the racing's industries SFI Testing Certification 3.3, PXP garments also pass the below certification: CAN/CGSB 155.20-2000 Work wear for Protection against Hydrocarbon Flash Fire NFPA 70E-Edition 2004 (National Fire Protection Association - OSHA mandates Standard for Electrical Safety in the Workplace) ATPV Test, arc rating level 2 (Arc Thermal Performance Value rating for Arc Flash Fire)
