They are 16 gauge which corresponds to the manufacturer's 15 amp rated capacity specification. These are quality test leads. **Q: Power rating? they say 1500v at 15a.... that would make them able to handle 22,500 watts. are there real number fo.r this test lead?** A: You have to realize that the voltage rating is only an insulation value. It’s the current handling (15A) that counts here. But if you insist on acting as an electrical engineer then yes, the leads are theoretically capable of 15*1500 or 22,500 watts.
