## Description

Are you looking for a discreet and convenient way to carry an extra magazine? I was and I found this concept at the 2014 SHOT SHOW. It's called the Snagmag and it carries your spare magazine as you would a folding pocket knife. In fact, from the outside it looks just like a folding knife....which is what makes this item so interesting! It's designed to "snag" on your the inside of your pocket as you pull the magazine out of you pocket so you can reload fast and with confidence. It available for Glock magazines, of course, as well as 1911 and several others. PLEASE NOTE: The firearm should be held in your strong hand, so this magazine pouch is designed to fit on the opposite side to allow for off-hand loading. The right handed version of this product is designed to be worn in the shooters left pocket.

## Features

- This is ideal for concealed carry situations as it does not draw attention to the fact that you are carrying a magazine

Not worth buying two or one,...really!

So this was not I had hoped for, if I could I buy something similar like the magnetic version instead of this. yeah I seen and have read the other reviews and I disagree. This thing isn't as good as it could be. I'm going to keep it and continue to use it cause it is workable/functional enough. But the price tag Is Not and Does Not Garner/Deserve the price it asks for or will usually cost not for what you get. this is a $19.95 item all day long. and should be even lower for $14.95 during special sale days throughout the year, I/e Black Friday, Veterans Day, Memorial Day these sort of time frames throughout the year. I mean $35 dollars is not only unfair but even ridiculous. Anyway I honestly don't mind paying high prices or good money for my items I purchase but they got to be worth the value and I do apologize but id being lying if I didn't say this just isn't. Thank You for reading, and hope this helps some of you consumers.

Great idea, and it's almost there, but it needs improvement before it makes it into my firearm inventory (photos):

GOOD ATTRIBUTES:* Great concept* Conceals both the M&P Shield 7-Round and 8-Round magazines equally as well (see photos).* It really does look like a knife clip and gives minimal printing, if any.* Very light and easy to access your spare mag (as in getting to it... the draw has its issues as explained below).NOT SO GOOD ATTRIBUTES:* The pocket clip does not hold tight enough to your pocket.* There is an arm that wraps around your magazine right where your index finger would be applying pressure to pull backwards and upwards, but this also means you are grabbing the mag holster while drawing, which in a stressful situation, it is likely that that the entire magazine holster will be pulled out (see photo).WAYS TO IMPROVE THE PRODUCT:I believe that the pocket clip "grab" can be improved by using a more rigid material where it is attached. Either that or add some type of rigid reinforcement so that there is no flex that is taking away some of the energy required for the clip to hold onto your pocket. For the arm that wraps your magazine where you would be indexing, this can be moved lower on the holster or made smaller. You really only need a small area to prevent the mag from sliding forward anyway, perhaps create a pocket type area at the bottom, which would still allow the plastic arm on the back/claw side to hug the mag.FINAL ASSESSMENT:I wanted to like this product. I gave it an honest shot and practiced A LOT! Unfortunately, I discovered that I had to give just the right amount of upward/backward pressure to successfully draw my magazine. Almost every time, even when successful, the holster would either come fully out of the pocket (and un-clip) or come off about half way (not when going super slow, of course, but when really practicing with intent to draw swiftly). In a stressful situation, I want my mag holster to work 100% of the time without me having to worry about having to apply just the right amount of pressure to draw.I hope they do make improvements to strengthen the clip and remove the arm where I would index the magazine with my finger to draw. If they did that, I would definitely give their product another shot; unfortunately, at this point, I had to return the product and only give 2 stars, even though the concept is great. I just couldn't give a positive review on a product that would not work 100% of the time as intended, especially where one's safety or life could be on the line.

Good for carry, as a couple of minor improvements that could be made.

These work exactly as advertised, and keep the magazines exactly where I put them. I have only two minor gripes with them:1. If you have the 7rd Sig P938 magazines, the base pad is wider than the magazine itself, and doesn't seat in the snagmag unless you flex the back piece a bit. Not a huge deal, and it helps retention a bit to do so, but it makes it kind of awkward (or the mags just don't fully seat into the snagmag).2. The pocket clip is riveted in place, not set with a chicago screw. Normally, I'd say this is a non-issue, but the magazine pouch keeps the mags right at the mouth of the pocket, which means they're not fully concealed down in the pocket, and are visible, which is a no-go if you're in certain places where people recognize a mag, and make the connection to what it's for, and then make it an issue. I would prefer to have this set up so that I can set the depth into my pocket at which the thing sits out of the box, so that I can make the mags sit deeper or shallower, depending on the circumstances.
