I'm looking to bend pieces 6 inches wide** A: 1/8th inch is pretty thick. If you get the adjustments right for that thickness it may do 6" but may also crack the aluminum. I also bought the 6" box break for a 6" vice. Its about $60. So if you only need it for that size it should work pretty well, assuming you have a vice.
