With a rich, creamy consistency and self-sealing formula, they dry within 24 hours and clean up easily with soap and water. Compatible with traditional oil paints and mediums, these paintstiks are perfect for underpainting, fabric arts, stenciling, and more, offering artists versatile, portable, and vibrant color options. ## Description When you're ready to start your next oil painting, pick up Shiva pianistic artist colors instead of a brush. Manufactured in the united states, paintstiks are ideal for sketching and outlining, Shiva pianistic artist colors are refined linseed oil blended with a quality pigment and solidified into a convenient stick form. Paintstiks can be spread or blended and used in conjunction with conventional oil paint. There are no unpleasant odors or fumes, so you can virtually paint anywhere, at any time, on almost any surface from paper to panel to fabric. Paintstiks are “self-sealing”. That is, they form a protective film so the color won't rub off or dry out. Yet they always stay moist and fresh, providing an indefinite shelf life because they reseal in 24 hours. This film is easily removed by peeling it away with a paper towel, or rubbing it off gently. It can also be removed by carefully paring it with a knife (it can be sharpened to a point in this matter). When the stick has begun to wear to the edge of the sleeve, simply loosen the sleeve from the oil stick at the seam, open the sleeve and push the stick forward. Press the sleeve around the oil stick again and repeat the peeling process as needed. Remember that Shiva pianistic artist colors are oil color, the same as tube oils, so all the same techniques, mediums and surfaces can be used including varnishes. Paintstiks are available in 55 professional colors, 22 iridescent and 12 student colors. ## Features - Manufactured in the u.s.a. - No offensive odor, rich creamy buttery consistancy. easy clean up : soap, water, baby wipes - Compatable with other oil paints and mediums - Most Colors Dry Within 24 Hours - Perfect for underpainting, fabric arts, craft projects, stenciling ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B000TNI4JW | | ASIN | B000TNI4JW | | Age Range Description | Baby | | Best Sellers Rank | #52,285 in Office Products ( See Top 100 in Office Products ) #1,868 in Art Paints | | Brand Name | Jack Richeson | | Color | Multi | | Container Type | Tube | | Customer Reviews | 4.5 4.5 out of 5 stars (209) | | Customer reviews | 4.5 4.5 out of 5 stars (209) | | Date First Available | 8 August 2012 | | Dry Time In Hours | 24 | | Finish Type | Gloss | | Full Cure Time | 24 Hours | | Global Trade Identification Number | 00717304062251 | | Included Components | Paintstiks | | Indoor Outdoor Usage | Indoor | | Is Discontinued By Manufacturer | No | | Is Waterproof | False | | Item Form | Stick | | Item Volume | 0.57 Fluid Ounces | | Item Weight | 181 g | | Item model number | 121303 | | Manufacturer | Jack Richeson | | Manufacturer | Jack Richeson | | Model Name | Shiva Oil Paintstik, Traditional Colors | | Model Number | 121303 | | Paint Type | Oil | | Part Number | 121303 | | Product Dimensions | 22.86 x 15.24 x 2.54 cm; 181.44 g | | Size | 6 count (Pack of 1) | | Special Features | Blendable | | Specific Uses For Product | Interior | | Surface Recommendation | Fabric,Paper | | UPC | 717304062251 | | Unit Count | 6 Count | | Water Resistance Level | Water Resistant | ## Product Details - **Brand:** Jack Richeson - **Colour:** Multi - **Finish type:** Gloss - **Item volume:** 0.57 Fluid Ounces - **Size:** 6 count (Pack of 1) ## Images ![Shiva Oil Paintstik, Traditional Colors, Set of 6 - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/81Q+K0NN56L.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Color** options. ## Frequently Bought Together - Jack Richeson Shiva Oil Paintstik, Traditional Colors, Set of 6 - Jack Richeson 121502 Shiva Oil Paintstik, Professional Colors, Set of 12 - Jack Richeson Shiva Oil Paintstik, Titanium White --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.tn/products/272223178-shiva-oil-paintstik-traditional-colors-set-of-6](https://www.desertcart.tn/products/272223178-shiva-oil-paintstik-traditional-colors-set-of-6) --- *Product available on Desertcart Tunisia* *Store origin: TN* *Last updated: 2026-10-29*
