I love the wide neck and the capacity and the overall shape reminds me of a taller version of an old style milk bottle. The silicone cap works perfectly, with no leaks and makes reuse easy. The bottles feel like they are good quality and should be nice and durable, with the caveat that they are made of glass, so probably would survive hard knocks, which should be obvious. Overall I'm very happy with them and think they are good value for the price I paid, so I will definitely buy more.

**Q: Are these bottles dishwasher proof?**
A: I do not know for sure. I wash by hand with a bottle brush, as the dishwasher is unlikely to get water in the narrow neck to clean inside the bottle properly.

**Q: Hi can you buy just the silicone lids as I have lots of bottles where the old lids have rusted? Thank you Sara**
A: Not this type exactly but there are silicone lids available on Amazon for milk bottles.

**Q: Can these be stored in the freezer?**
A: As with putting any glass in the freezer, it is generally not a good idea, unless it is specifically designed for the freezer (most bottles are not freezer-proof because of their shape & the type of glass used) so I would say NO, do not put these in the freezer. When you freeze liquid in a glass bottle, the danger area falls at the neck and mouth. As the contents freeze, they expand and push out of this area, since the opening is the weak area with space for expansion,  the frozen contents can push into it, putting great stress on the area of glass at the neck. I would select plastic for freezing liquid or better still,  silicone pouches, NOT glass. These are, however, fabulous bottles for homemade plant-milks, which are for storing in the fridge. **Q: Do they leak if you have to lie them on their side - very small fridge so can't put everything in the door?**
A: No they don't leak at all , I lay mine in the fridge all the time. They are very good.

These are perfectly good bottles, look nice, no contamination of taste. The lids are the best bit, they really are leak proof, we can lay them on their side, shake them, turn them upside down... no leaking at all!! They are easy to clean - but we only use them for storing water. Perfect for keeping water (or anything else liquid) in the fridge, and they fit easily in the door shelf. I love them and they are used every day, multiple times a day. I really truly wish the makers would do a 2 litre version of these - we've got three of them (bargain!) but we empty the litre bottles a couple of times a day and one of them has to lie on it's side taking up even more space in the fridge... A larger size would be so useful for us!
