I don't regret going for the FP-30x, though I must admit the main reason for choosing it over the FP10 was the ability to upgrade to 3 pedals in the future, and if I'm honest, I now realise I am unlikely to need the other two pedals for a very long time, if at all. The FP30x is compatible with Roland’s new Piano Everyday app and their older Piano Partner 2 app, while the FP30 is only compatible with the older Piano Partner 2 app All of this could easily be etabled by firmware updates to the FP30. So basically they are crippling the Fp30 (the older one) and inducing you to go out and buy a new piano.
