**Q: how good is it for toyota 1996 pickup?...and whats the difference with them? i wanna get the XD9000 would this be good?**
A: I put the XD9000 on a 2000 Land Cruiser.  Luckily haven't had to use it much.  It didn't have any problems pulling a Cherokee out of a snow bank.  I'd say it's fine for your pickup.

A: Can't find specs for a 2001 Toyota Colorado. If you meant Corolla, then no ot wint fot.

A: Well its plenty stout. Plastic is not in the equation. Figure solid mount to some framework. This winch will pull you up a tree!
