My set has seen plenty of hard use ... - Box is perfectly sized to hold tips - be careful to keep the yellow guard in its position and not to lift it up, or the bits which are narrower than their shank are likely to fall through the holder... Into the convenient box. A nuisance at best. My set has seen plenty of hard use on natural/found stone, mostly quartz and granitic gneisses. Nothing soft. Rarely is overheating an issue, and my "go-to" flat-edged wheel (first row on the left, third one from the top) for grinding comparatively large portions of stone for pre-shaping has as of its last use stripped off half of its diamond coating on the narrow edge. I probably could have avoided this using more lubricant, water bathing, and other efforts, but the bit took its use like a champion. The range of tip shapes allows for a great deal of versatility in the shaping and sculpting process, and this set is indispensable to anyone working with natural stone, brick, ceramic, tile, glass, or any other material for which nothing less than diamond will do. I am likely to purchase another set long before the wear on the bits requires me to buy a new one, because these do their job so very well that you can't have too many. That said, for some types of work (less grinding/shaping/sculpting, more engraving/linework) you may want to purchase a separate set. The tools not being able to do something they're not meant to do doesn't diminish their incredible value. DO NOT PASS ON THIS SET. It is a worthwhile investment. I can't speak highly enough of the product.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: what grit rating is this set?**
A: Not listed on packaging but my guess is 120 to 100.

**Q: will these fit a standard dremel rotary tool?**
A: It should fit just fine. The shank on these bits is 1/8" or 3mm and you should have a collect for that size with your Dremel. It's a standardized size. Hope this helps.

**Q: Do these fit hex insert drills?**
A: No they do not.
Only for 1/8 inch Drexel tools.

**Q: Can you use these with a router for stone?**
A: I guess it could be if you're router can manage to size down, in other words adjust to the size that's listed for the bits, to be able to grip them correctly. Since I don't know what kind of router you're speaking of. I would be remiss if I didn't say that I only use these bits with a flex shaft and a Dremel. If you have a similar style power tool that comes with a routing attachment and the correct adopters to allow for the bits to be seated and secured, then, yes. If not then I would suggest you do not choose these bits. Strictly because of safety issues that may occur. Not to mention wasted time and effort if you end up having to return them. Hope this helps you out.
