There is a nice light scent and it has a well mixed texture. I would like to emphasize this is a balm/palmade which if you have ever tried a palmade it’s not comparable to hair gel. A lot of people I’ve noticed who use this expect a palmade to last all day which is not the case for ANY brand. You will want to find a different product in general such as a gel if that’s your goal. This balm is easy to apply to hair, does not leave any residue and has a nice soft smooth finish that is durable for majority of the day. My son has very thick hair and a very bad cowlick in the front of his hair, this palmade is easy to apply and easily tames his hair.
