Waves can swamp your boat quickly when the transom cant rise. **Q: Does the swivel lock the rope in place?** A: doesnt work with my 1/4 line. to thin, get smoosh and doesnt lock. I recomend at least 3/8 line. preferable 1/2 **Q: Can it be used on a boston whaler 130?** A: It would depend on the size of the anchor you are using. Be sure the diameter of line will do the job of anchoring your boat. I revive old small fishing boats and I equip them well before I pass them on to new owners; and this is one item I put on every boat, and the new owners always notice. They work, are easy to operate and will hold the anchor when up and hanging off the boat. They do no harm to the rope. I put two on my river boat and I can operate them all by myself from any position in the boat. Nothing is worse then pulling up a wet rope that has been hanging in the water. Using this helps when I put the anchor in the water it has a stopper on it like a brake. Also when I pull up the rope from the water it makes so I don’t have all kinds of wet rope slapping all around on me. It pulls in nice and easy and neat. I am so glad I bought this for our boat. Buy one you won’t regret it. It is nice and sturdy.
