**Q: Can you tell me the allergen info of these bars?**
A: All I can say are the contents of the bars which is Wheat Flour, Vegetable Shortening, Cane Sugar Coconut and Salt. If you wish to phone the company that manufactures these bars the following is helpful: Tel: 1(337)738-4511 or Fax:1(337)738-5675. The company is Datrex Inc - Kinder, La. USA

**Q: are these chewy, soft, hard or somewhere in the middle?**
A: We tried them out not long ago for a hiking trip and to share with the 4H club. They aren't really chewy and definitely not hard at all. The little "cookies" are packaged in individual plastic wrapping inside the vacuum sealed outer layer. Be careful when you open the individual "cookies" because they are fairly soft and quite crumbly. They taste great! Just make sure to chew thoroughly and have some water handy.

**Q: Does this have tree nuts or peanuts...it is not listed on the label**
A: They are "peanut products free" as per their website description.

**Q: Nutrition label**
A: Sorry. Don't recall seeing a nutrition label. Additionally, these are so extremely dry. Just a single bite from one made my mouth so dry that I had to drink a lot of water. In an emergency situation, this is entirely counter productive when it comes to conserving water. So personally, I don't recommend these at all. Greatly disappointing. I hope this helps.
