By the end of the week it has mostly turned to mush and gets flushed down the inner tube to the 4 foot dirt hole under the tank. This is very much like flushing a toilet. The enzymes in the poop in the dirt hole continue to breakdown and eventually become part of the soil. Technically if everything is working correctly you should not ever need to move this unit. It is important to keep the tank full of water and the poop submerged as that minimizes the smell and bugs.
