This is - by far - the best diamond stone for tuning skis without using a file. In the East, I normally tune my skis after skiing on hardpack snow regularly. These diamond stones not only work great, they also far outlast any other diamond stones I have tried. An expert in ski tuning recommended these Moonflex diamond stones to me. Great recommendation.

They last longer and create a nice sharp polished edge. Clean them after sharpening each edge and do not over use and they will last longer.
