Bought the last one during the Holiday Season. Finally tried to use it and too much resistance thru the membrane to get any adequate water flow. Maybe the batch I got is defective. Who knows. IF this had worked as advertised, it would dominate this niche currently dominated by Life Straw because this device was independently tested by a Survival site and the water purposefully contaminated with bacteria, cysts and viruses, after filtration was free of All 3 pathogens. It would have been the only device of it’s kind-small, affordable and portable, that could deliver on filtering out Bacteria, Cysts and Viruses. Too bad and returning the one bought during the Holidays, stuck with the remaining 3 so NOT happy. Glad I was not in a critical hydration do or die situation with this as my only filtration option. I can say water does flow slowly through the filter. I am reluctant to drink the water because the only company mentioned as testing the product is an agency unknown to me that is in China. Also, I don't see where this product is offered or actually used by any other organizations or retailers. If it does all it claims to do why is it not sold more widely.
