We use them with this Amazon town carpet: IVI Thick 3D Childrens Play Mat & Rug in A Colorful Town Design for Kids with Soccer Field, Car Park & Roads, Blue, 32 x 45 inches I do not know if these work on a train track. **Q: Are they dishwasher safe?** A: I don’t think so only bc I believe the paint would begin to fade and it might compromise the wood.
