When this one arrived, it did not feel like sterling silver. I finally put it on to see how it felt on my finger. After two days, the "silver" started rubbing off. It is advertised as sterling silver, not silver plated which of course no one would buy. Sterling silver will never rub off. Anyone can mark a piece of junk metal 925 --which makes this a real scam. This adjustable ring is perfect -- it shimmies on like a tight bracelet does around your wrist. I can't imagine anyone being able to wear this as a toe ring, so I wouldn't recommend it for that. But for your thumb, it's perfect!
