I only use it when traveling internationally, which is about 2-3 weeks a year, and then only half the time. So I've worn this belt at most, 50 times, and probably more like 30. You can see what happened - the material cracked, then split and finally the belt almost came apart - it is held together by the stitching. I also experienced extensive cracking of the leather about the belt holes, as reported by another reviewer, and noticed cracking and flaws starting to develop elsewhere. Very poor quality "leather". The back of my belt indicates it is made in China - nuf said about this piece of junk. I bought another money belt the same day and have worn it the same amount of time - it still looks great. And it was the same price - Atitlan Leather Brown Leather Money Belt with Interchangeable Buckle (46). Atitlan Leather.
