It's large-enough to handle weightier average-sized dice and give them a good roll, but without being too large to carry to a gaming session hosted elsewhere. It folds up nice-and-compact. The tray has a good depth, so dice don't bounce out of it. It is magnetised in multiple locations to keep the tower in place relative to the tray, whether open or closed. It has a nice, clean appearance - no over-the-top visual "theme" - and is made of real wood rather than mdf or acrylic. Slight negatives are as follows: the tower opening is a little narrow so you've got to be a bit mindful of where you're casting your dice, the tower is a little wobbly even though it's magnetised so I manually added a small shim to tighten it up, and it's a touch loud for my taste when using larger dice. I quietened the sound of my tower by lining the inside of it with sticky-back neoprene. For this money, you're obviously not going to receive a handmade hardwood "heirloom" quality dice tower, yet I still find it attractive in its understatedness. But the magnets on the side to keep the tower upright are not strong enough, so while it stays upright it wobbles alot and leans with its own weight.
