This 18in (457mm) diameter round-shaped SRV composite curing heating blanket with vacuum seal has a heating element that is laminated between two layers of 66mil thick non-reinforced silicone rubber with a density of 66oz/sq yd (2237g/sq m). Heated area has a 12in (305mm) diameter. The multi-stranded heating element is uniformily placed to maximize heat distribution. Vacuum ports built into blanket eliminates the need for vacuum bagging materials. Blanket seal added around edge eliminates the need for tacky sealant or tape. It is moisture, chemical, and radiation resistant with a smooth surface against repair. Strain relief is built through the entire edge of the blanket for increased durability. It is extremely flexible with a bend radius of 3in (76mm), making it ideal for leading or trailing edges. It has a maximum exposure temperature of 450° F (232° C). The power density is 5watts/sq in (0.008watts/sq m). It comes with a 6ft (1.8m) long power cord with a standard ACR 3 Hot Bonder compatible plug (NEMA L14-30). A temperature controller is required.
