Dimensions are approximately 10" square (perhaps 10-1/2" with handle) by about 7-1/2" high to the rim without the lid installed. Add about 1/4" with the lid installed. Inside dimensions are about 9" square by 7-1/4" deep. Lids fit snug without gasket for storage of dry product (not liquids). Lids have tamper evident tear-tab. Lid can be re-used. These are 65 mil buckets and not the lighter weight 55mil. Stronger for stacking. A great storage solution. Buckets are food-grade plastic. Lids have tear strips. Typical initial installation is with a rubber mallet. Lids will lock on. To remove the lid, first remove the tear strip by grasping the end and pulling/peeling off around the perimeter of the lid. The tabs are then free to flex and the lid can be removed and re-installed as needed. Engagement can be firm. It is common for injection molded buckets to taper with some curvature. Square buckets have supposed flat panels on the four sides. Molded plastic does not like to be flat. In practice, the flat sides of a square or rectangular bucket may have a bit of a wave to them. Molders may fight this by intentionally creating some small amount of outward curvature to avoid the natural wave that occurs from a flat surface of the mold. Any concavity on this product is due to cooling/shrinkage irregularities and molded in stresses that relieve when removed from the mold. A dead flat surface is unlikely in such products.
