Off by nearly 150F in 300F oil (reading 450 ish). Another digital thermometer was reading 300F in the same pot. Placed in water to clean and was still reading nearly 220F. Water was not boiling and barely warm. UPDATE: Vendor offered to refund cost without the need to ship item back. Off by nearly 150F in 300F oil (reading 450 ish). Another digital thermometer was reading 300F in the same pot. Placed in water to clean and was still reading nearly 220F. Water was not boiling and barely warm. Overall this is a great thermometer and is very useful. ## Frequently Bought Together - Escali AHC1 Stainless Steel Deep Frying and Candy Thermometer with Pot Clip, 5-Inch Probe with Candy Temperature Zones, NSF Certified - Escali AH1 Stainless Steel Oven Safe Meat Thermometer, Extra Large 2.5-inches Dial, Temperature Labeled for Beef, Poultry, Pork, and Veal Silver NSF Certified - Rubbermaid Commercial Products Food/Meat Instant Read Thermometer, Pocket Size, Dishwasher Safe, Red, For Meat/Food Cooking and Grilling/Oven --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.tn/products/275075185-ahc1-nsf-certified-candy-deep-fry-confection-thermometer-with-extra](https://www.desertcart.tn/products/275075185-ahc1-nsf-certified-candy-deep-fry-confection-thermometer-with-extra) --- *Product available on Desertcart Tunisia* *Store origin: TN* *Last updated: 2026-11-03*
