Although there is much more competition, they still remain a popular choice and I can see why! I've used a lot of the popular newer brands of cleansing oils but I have very clog-prone and sensitive skin so I'm pretty picky with my skincare and haven't found many first cleanse products that are suitable with my skin type. I saw that Banila Co. has come out with many versions of their original cleansing balm so I was curious to try them. I haven't used Banila Co. since the 2010s.I bought their tea-tree pore cleansing edition and was very impressed. Usually korean cleansing oils are more heavily fragranced but this does not have a scent. It's buttery smooth and easy to spread. It cleanses off all my makeup but I have to say I do still use the heroine make mascara cleansing brush as this doesn't take off all my mascara but most oil cleansers I've used don't always get all of it. After it washes off your skin will feel like a baby's bottom. I was surprised, my skin didn't feel the least bit heavy nor stripped. Even though this is the pore cleansing edition my skin was still left very soft and supple. I would say even if you have sensitive skin, your skin won't be irritated and your pores will be left clean! The blackheads on my nose have gotten slightly smaller and makeup layers much better. I was able to purchase this one on sale and would probably wait for it to be on sale again to purchase. I've noticed korean cleanser tend to be much more expensive than japanese ones but when the cleansing balm is on sale, I'd say there's decent competition there.
