Review: Opens in front - It's a pretty clock, has decent sounding chimes, 4 to choose from. I like that the chimes have a volume dial. I like that the clock opens in front to change batteries or set time. I don't have to take it down and slide up a panel from the back to do this like my other clocks. The 4x4 Westminster chimes every quarter hour. Plain Westminster chimes every hour, also has 2 other chimes. Keeps time very well. I will say it is a bit over priced at 179.00. Overall it is a nice clock and I would recommend. On third picture I added two gold ornamental stickers on the glass. I love it even more now.

**Q: Does this clock come ready to hang or do you need to buy additional hardware?**
A: Hello Ron;
Clock is ready to hang. All you need is a screw strong enough to hold the weight of the clock on the wall. Just make sure that the head of the screw will fit through the hole on the back of the clock. You're going to love this clock.

A: Not wall mounted, but do have Seth Thomas Mantle

**Q: What hymns does this play and are they played on the hour?**
A: It does not play hymns. It has four chime variations including a Westminster chime.

**Q: Can the chime be turned off?**
A: Yes they can be turned off.  They will turn off automatically from 11pm to 6am.  They setting on the mantle clock is 2 go give 1/4hour chime.  Very pleasant
