## Questions & Answers

**Q: What equipment connects the extender to a NVR**
A: If your NVR has POE enabled ports for cameras, then all you would need to do is connect this switch to a camera port on the NVR via a Cat 5/5e/6 network cable. That's assuming, of course, that your NVR can provide enough power to the port to support this switch and whatever number of cameras you're connecting to the switch.

**Q: Does this operate as a switch or hub/bridge? If I’m plugging in multiple devices, it needs to have a Mac table.**
A: easy to extend PoE Power to Four PoE devices, such as Wireless APs, Base Stations, Network Cameras or other PoE devices through an exterior network data cable.
I am using this to add cameras at an outdoor weather proof box along a fence line. POE powered from inside the building and the switch supplies poe to 2 cameras within 300ft of this switch.

**Q: Can 4 cameras of 12v each be connected to the switch?**
A: Depends on power demands of camera

**Q: Will this work with ubiquiti Ap?**
A: If they are 48 Volt yes. Will nor work on 24 volts
