**Q: Will AK mags fit?**
A: I don't own any AK mags, so I can't say for sure.  The StG-44 mags are made for the 7,92 kurz rounds, and the side to side width of the StG-44 mags are 5,5cm and they are a very tight fit, so I would suspect that they wouldn't fit the AK mags.  Having said that though, I am very happy with the design as a replica.

**Q: Will this work for the gsg stg 44 22lr cartridges?**
A: Yes, that's why I got it too.

**Q: Is it metal?**
A: Metal? No.  It is  extremely accurate for a German MP-42 6-sticks or StG-44 6- magazine carrier.

**Q: would a 40 round hk93 mag fit?**
A: No, The magazine is too long.
