Thanks!** A: How can it be 13.73 oz when the specs indicate the "Shipping Weight: 8.5 ounce?" **Q: Does it lock in place when you use it?** A: I could not get the kickstand to stay put. I even put tape underneath and had the bike shop tighten it down. Maybe my chain stays on my bike are narrower than the standard. The kickstand would constantly rotate and therefore wouldn’t hold the bike up. After a year of fumbling with it, I just took it off. Leaning my bike against a wall offers more support. It did not work for my bike. **Q: I have a 27 or 29 inch tire would this work on my patrol bike?** A: Yes I have a 29" Cannondale and it works on it ,it's the only one I could find that did.I have had to adjust it twice and it doesn't hold the bike up every well but it's better that laying my new bike in the dirt. Hope this helps. ## Frequently Bought Together - BV Bike Kickstand - Alloy Adjustable Height Rear Side Bicycle Kick Stand, for 24" - 28" Mountain Bike/Road Bike/BMX/MTB - Ascher Ultra Bright USB Rechargeable Bike Light Set, Powerful Bicycle Front Headlight and Back Taillight, 4 Light Modes, Easy to Install for Men Women Kids Road Mountain Cycling Black - Lamicall Bike Phone Holder, Motorcycle Phone Mount - Motorcycle Handlebar Cell Phone Clamp, Scooter Phone Clip for iPhone 15 Pro Max/Plus, 14 Pro Max, S9, S10 and More 4.7" to 6.8" Smartphones --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.tn/products/275517986-bike-kickstand-lightweight-aluminum-alloy-rear-side-kick-stand-24](https://www.desertcart.tn/products/275517986-bike-kickstand-lightweight-aluminum-alloy-rear-side-kick-stand-24) --- *Product available on Desertcart Tunisia* *Store origin: TN* *Last updated: 2026-11-03*
