Like i just drop this into my regular thermo flask bottle** A: I’m going to say probably not. brita bottles have a specific opening in the straw to put the filter down in. That way as you drink it filters it out. It wouldn’t do much more than just float if you dropped it in a non brita bottle. **Q: Does the filter have expiry date? I want to store it for a long time.** A: It doesn't have an exact expiration date. However, I bought this for my 13 yr old daughter. She drinks alot of room temperature water. (I'd say minimum of 6 bottles per day if not more) Because she drinks so much, I replace her filter every 45 days. I think it depends on how much water u think you'd drink daily. On average it can be used about 3 months before being changed out.
