Bestand Keyboard Stand for Apple Magic Trackpad (MJ2R2LL/A) and Apple Wireless Keyboard (MLA22LL/A) - Trackpad & Keyboard NOT Included

It takes some effort and care to get the keyboard and trackpad into the stand, but once there, everything is solid. The entire bottom has a honeycombed elastomer base that cuts down on keyboard noise and prevents the unit from sliding around the desk. More importantly, it also keeps the unit from sliding around on my legs when I put my feet up on the desk. This is the first time I've been able to use a magic keyboard with my feet up and it's wonderful. Having the trackpad right there is also a plus. Also, unlike some stands/docks, this allows full access to the lightning ports and the on/off switches. I will say that at first I was hoping to purchase an aluminum stand/dock, but with the new coloring and layout of the magic keyboard and the magic trackpad 2, the white plastic is perfect. Because it's slightly flexible, this also allows the keyboard and trackpad to click into place nicely, and be held solidly, eliminating the workarounds like double-sided tape that some aluminum solutions use. I'd buy another one of these if I had another computer.

Okay, I admit, I first thought "Nah, I do not need this." My Mac Mini is hooked up to my 65" LED LG television, and since we stream most television, having the keyboard and trackpad separate has worked since late 2014. Often enough, I would wonder where I last used the keyboard, or the trackpad as they were not together.Enter this product. I can now sit back on the couch with my legs spread like normal (I am male) and now can use my Magic Keyboard 2 and not have to keep my legs together, squeezing those parts (you men know what I am meaning). Plus it keeps the Magic Trackpad 2 right there.It is pretty durable, does not slide around thanks to the rubber-like honeycomb design under it, I have flung it onto the couch and the two stay together. I even held it on the side and shook violently--and they stayed in the tray.I am very impressed, and I have to also give kudos to the packaging--very cool box that has a tactile feel to they keyboard and trackpad on it. No extra paper with instructions--it is under the lid of the package. Nice!

I was looking for something like this for a few months but could find nothing to fit the new MagicTrackpad2 n new Magic Keyboard, then i stumbled upon this. It's great, it's affordable, n is a necessity u didn't know u really needed until u have it. I feel like i should buy another one for a backup just in case. I only saw 1 other "stand" like this on Amazon n it was wooden n the keyboard n trackpad just laid on it, with this, they fit securely inside of it. I wish the trackpad was below the keyboard n centered but that would look weird so i guess this is the way to do it. Anyway, i highly recommend anyone with the newer Apple Trackpad n keyboard to buy this...NOW.

This was a lot of money for something so cheap and kinda flimsy. It gets the job done, but it's not quite as slick and nice as I'd expected from photos. It also wasn't easy getting the keyboard and mouse in here. Anyway, I use it as a laptop desk replacement to work on a Mac mini across the living room, connected to my 65" TV, and it works fine for that, but it doesn't balance as well as I'd like when I line up the keyboard to more comfortably situate my hands on "home row," with the trackpad dangling off to the right of my thigh. I know it would do away with the minimalism, but some sort of extendable plank that would rest the left side of the contraption more fully on my left thigh would be great.

The plastic protrusions/nubs that hold the keyboard and trackpad in place don't do an especially good job. As a result, the keyboard (along its right edge) and trackpad (along its left edge), right where these two devices meet one another, are continuously popping out/lifting up. Overall, this plastic device seems flimsy and doesn't inspire confidence in its longevity. If the plastic was thicker and the protrusions/nubs were more pronounced, then this would be a better product.

The best thing to say about a product is it has Apple quality. In my opinion this stand has it. My new Apple trackpad and keyboard fit like they were made for each other by Apple. Sometimes you are concerned that a third party product would not work as advertised. That is not the case with this product. The charging ports are exposed enough so the charging cable fits in perfectly and the keyboard and trackpad do not have to be removed when charging. This was a concern of mine when purchasing. That is not the case now. I am very pleased with this purchase.

it was my second purchase. I have one for my office and got another for home desk.I did a lot of search but it is the only available solution to hold keyboard and trackpad together.

I got the Apple keyboard and trackpad for a mini Mac set up. I have a keyboard tray, but I like to move the keyboard around to the desk to my lap to the tray to change my ergonomics through out the days and what task I am doing. This simple little tray turn those two products into one unit so leaning back and putting the keyboard and trackpad in my lap simple and comfortable. Maybe could be a little stiffer and more robust but does the job and works for my set up.

Es mala calidad, el teclado queda como debe ser, justo y sin peligro de caer; pero el Magic Trackpad no se sujeta y se me ha caído; por lo que no lo recomiendo.

Sehr gute Idee, aber....Die Tastatur passt wie angegossen, aber das Fach für das Trackpad ist etwas größer und das Trackpad rastet nicht ein und ist etwas locker. Wenn Sie das Ganze auf den Kopf stellen, könnte es herausfallen.Die Ladebuchse für die Tastatur sitzt gut, aber das Trackpad liegt etwas tiefer und muss zum Laden abgenommen werden.Ich habe das Gefühl, dass das Design nicht für Version 3 entwickelt wurde.Aber alles in allem ist es schön und verrutscht nicht auf dem Tisch. Aber mit einigen Mängeln, natürlich teuer für ein Stück Plastik, das auch nicht ganz akkurat gefertigt ist.Ich habe es trotzdem behalten...P.S.:Verbesserung vom Verkäufer:Nach eineinhalb Jahren schickte mir der Verkäufer ein neues Modell zum Testen.Das neue Modell hat grundlegend neue Tastaturhalterungen. Tastatur wird nun von links eingeschoben. Das Problem des Herausfallens ist gelöst! Auch die Aussparungen für die Tastatur und das Touchpad wurden vergrößert, befinden sich nun aber links und rechts - für Linkshänder, was für mich etwas seltsam ist.Es gibt auch neue Füße, dank derer man die Neigung der Tastatur verändern kann.Ich bin sehr zufrieden mit dem neuen Modell!Ich weiß nicht, ob es bereits beim Verkäufer erhältlich ist oder ob es sich um eine Testversion handelt.
