Also, how large are they? I don't want my kitten to be able to choke on them. Thanks!** A: These have AMAZING bounce (in fact, this is THE reason my cat wants to play with these and none of her other ball toys!) They are the size of a golf ball so they definitely won't choke your kitty. An added feature to these balls that appeals greatly to my cat is that she can pick them up in her mouth and carry it somewhere else (something that felines like to do with their prey). **Q: How durable are the balls? Can they stand up to being chewed? I'm afraid my cat would tear off small pieces and eat them. Are they chew proof?** A: Well... They're soft & foam-like. I just tried to pinch a piece off of one & I couldn't but a cats teeth may be able to rip it. I'd hate to say they're chew proof & something happen to your cat. My cat carries them around in her mouth & I see a few teeth holes but no chunks missing. Hope that helps a little **Q: Why are they called ethical?** A: "ethical" as a brand name ought to be considered false advertising, as these are not actually "ethical", quite the opposite in fact.. **Q: What is the filling made of? Foam, cotton/polyester, hard material, or are they hollow?** A: I think the filling is made of foam. The soccer balls feel soft. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Turned my cat into an addict! *by on Reviewed in the United States 31 January 2014* A little over a year ago, we adopted a mostly black kitten that had been overlooked at the SPCA for the first 7 or 8 months of his life. He was a very large kitten and they quickly moved him to his own cage. Much of his "kittenhood" was essentially robbed from him. Once we adopted him, it was very clear he didn't have a good understanding of what being a cat was all about. He's now coming up on 2 years old and still behaves like he's only a few months old.Sorry for the long intro. "Bang" has been spoiled since we rescued him. He's had a myriad of toys and countless hours of affection. These balls bounce well on my thick carpet, and they bounce like crazy off harder surfaces. They're very spongy but heavy enough to throw across the room. BY FAR, these balls have been the best toys ever for his physical growth and happiness. The combination of the lightweight and great bouncing properties challenge his physical skills as he chases after them. He's gone from his clumsy origins to an incredibly agile cat, and I attribute a good portion of that to these balls. Our game of fetch used to be a once nightly event with a rattling mouse that he quickly lost interest in. As he matured, his interest seemed to fade until a new toy was introduced. Some nights, he actually either forgot about playtime or didn't have any interest in it.......until we got these soccer balls. We've had them for several months and he never misses a night of play anymore. More often than not, he pesters me or someone else to play fetch with him several times per day. Each time he goes after it with the same zeal. These ARE NOT the balls with the "made in china" stickers that seem impossible to get off. The black markings on the balls aren't stickers either. This four pack came with a single blue, green, yellow, and pink ball. They were less than $5 and worth way more than that when I consider the "bang" for the buck. Take a small gamble on the happiness of your cat. We're enjoying his addiction to these balls, though not half as much as him.---UPDATE---These balls have survived nightly abuse for well over a year now. His favorites are the yellow ones (cat physiology explanation, anyone?) and they are both pretty ragged looking at this point. I can barely open the drawer his toys are stored in without him waiting for the nightly game to start. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good product *by on Reviewed in Canada 7 November 2017* We have 8 cats, all rescued from outside. They absolutely love these toys. I put them in a large container of dried catnip to enhance the catnip smell/flavour. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ As Expected *by on Reviewed in Canada 31 January 2025* These sponge soccer balls are a great cat toy and my cat loves chasing them. ## Frequently Bought Together - Ethical Pet Sponge Soccer Balls (Pack of 4) - Yasdyri Cat Toys Balls 6 Pieces Colorful Cat Balls with Bells 5cm Soft Cat Pom Poms Balls Cats Interactive Ball Toy for Cats Kitten Indoor Outdoor Playing Chewing Scratching - AXSWER 10 Pcs Cat Balls Soft Foam Elastic Latex Chew Ball Toy for Puppy Kitten Dogs Colorful Pet Toy --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.tn/products/275868588-spot-sponge-soccer-ball-cat-toys-interactive-and-colorful-plush](https://www.desertcart.tn/products/275868588-spot-sponge-soccer-ball-cat-toys-interactive-and-colorful-plush) --- *Product available on Desertcart Tunisia* *Store origin: TN* *Last updated: 2026-10-08*
