I would recommend it to other parents who want to educate and entertain with one product. Review: Fun Adventure - My daughter received a V.Reader and we have been slowly adding books. This book has characters from the Mr. Men series of books I remember as a child. This story is about a hunt for a missing sock all around Dillydale, and they ultimately find it in his messy bedroom. There are 8 reading games that go with this story. I was going to tell you what each one does, but the book has been hijacked by the owner. I did get most of them though. What Happens is reading/listening for comprehension. Word Detective locates words with the chosen letter. Mr. Rude sniffs things and then has you figure out what he is smelling by matching the number of sniffs to the number of syllables in the word with Smelly Syllables. Sock Sorting matches upper and lower case letters. Show Time deals with opposites happy/sad, etc. Alphabetical Footprints has them figure out the next letter in the alphabet. Guess Who finds details to eliminate sock stealing suspects. I didn't get to Messy not Dressy, that one will have to be a surprise for you. This one is suggested for ages 3-5 and that is pretty accurate. My 5 year old can complete most of the tasks without too much difficulty. I think this title has been discontinued, which is too bad. I'd search for it in the "used" section if you can.
