A: Yes. It is designed for the sidewinder compact 2

**Q: Will this strap work for the compact I as well as the II?**
A: Yes. I have the early compact and it makes a heckuva headlamp.

**Q: Can this be worn by soccer players? Is the strap sturdy enough to hold head impacts and sweat?**
A: The strap is very sturdy,  but the beam of the light is fairly narrow.  I would think that it might limit peripheral vision too much for sports.

**Q: can this clip work for the sidewinder 14032?**
A: From my extensive viewing of the Streamlight website, the clip looks like it's the same size and it's the only headlamp band they offer for it. So:
