Like Sarahara desert dry that tangles and becomes a rat's nest easily. This comb slides through my hair so easily ( I still have to be careful on the snarly ends) and does NOT create that lovely static electricity . I do not end up with a fistful of hair in the comb when I use it. It helps distribute the hair conditioners and oils. I never would have thought that something as simple as the material a comb was made from would have such a dramatic difference in the performance of an everyday hair tool. Quality : Well made, easy to hold, and has a good weight to it. Well worth the price. It is also pretty. I am undecided if a small hole in the end if the handle so that you could hang this on the backside of a cabinet door would be an improvement or not. Wish I made this change years ago.
