There are exactly as described and photographed. The color makes for very discreet wearing, something that is important to me, as I don't want to look insane walking around with gloves in Southern California. I have fair, caucasian skin and find that, although these gloves are darker than my skin, they still blend well enough to not look immediately obvious. The material is very comfortable, and I like that the majority of my fingers (I'd say about 3/4) are covered. Just for reference: I bought the small. I have thin hands and long, thin fingers. They have a little grip in the palm, which is good because they are essentially a thicker nylon material that could maybe be a little "slick" otherwise. These are worth every penny.
