Review: A fitbit for dogs! - I bought the Fitbark to monitor my dog's health, after he was diagnosed with a skin condition and put on long term medication. The device takes a sample of a period of 4 hours during the night, and tells me how restless my dog has been - so I can monitor the effectiveness of his medication. My vet was very impressed when I could evidence the exact date the medication started to wear off! It's also great fun; the app syncs with my own Fitbit so we can achieve our targets together! I had a couple of questions, but the online help team were very quick to respond. You do just need to be careful how you attach it to the dog's collar. It fastens on with two tiny cable ties, which (because of the place I'd attached it) rubbed and caused my dog's neck to get very sore.
