## Description

Our Pure Certified Organic Primed Pressed Natural Cocoa Butter is extracted from the cocoa bean, refined for purity and left undeodorized. Because of the lack of deodorization, bulk natural cocoa butter has a pale yellowish or slight brown color and has the typical chocolate odor normally associated with cocoa butter. This version has a fantastic chocolate aroma making it the cocoa butter of choice for any customer that can appreciate the natural chocolate aroma. This can be used as a great moisturizer. It can be used in your raw creations like living chocolate bars and other treats. You can eat it plain and just sit and savor the flavor as it slowly melts in your mouth and coats your tongue with bliss.

Review: I found this to be of good quality at a reasonable price. I’ve become a repeat buyer. - Worked great in my soaps. It’s a little bit darker than the product I was using previously so I was initially concerned it may affect the final color of my soap bar. If it did, I didn’t notice. I did add this to my subscribe and save orders and have purchased it twice now. I was a little surprised that while the first bag was half large pieces and half crumbled cocoa, the second bag was only large pieces. I’m not sure if my first bag was compacted during the shipping process or if the bags are a random mixture of the two. Either way, the product works just as effectively - one just required less cutting down. I appreciate the larger 2 lb bag option as I do find that I go through the smaller bags so quickly that I was constantly needing to place a new order.
Review: Big chunks at the right price - As a CP soapmaker, the chunks of cocoa butter are large and require "cutting" to get them small enough to meet the weight required. So, there is a lot of cutting, which splinters the cocoa butter. This is remedied by cutting on a surface that can catch all the splinters and then be added to the total weight. So, it's more difficult than getting small pieces that can be easily broken by hand. However, the product itself is very good and I'm thankful for the price inasmuch as cocoa butter has risen over the past year or two. It's a good product - is rich - but needs more handling.
