Will it drain so much milk that there won't be enough left for baby to eat on that side?** A: Generally the amount of milk is an issue of supply and demand. I feed on both sides. If it has been longer between feedings, like 3-4 hours, I will use the pump on the opposite breast. If it is shorter, like 2 hours, I won't use it to ensure baby has enough milk. Just remember, if you hold it in place, or have a bra to hold it, you don't HAVE to apply suction. You can just let it catch your let down so there is no waste. Or sometimes I will only apply suction for half the time she is eating on the other side and then the rest I will just let it catch the let down without suction. It's up to you! **Q: Will this work if you dont leak or get engorged anymore? My son is 9 months.** A: YES! I don’t ever leak and I stick it on the other side when I’m nursing and get about an ounce each feeding. For some reason I don’t pump as much as he eats when I’m at work so having 4-6 oz extra a day from JUST my normal nursing sessions ias amazing. **Q: it cames with a lid?** A: No. Can purchase separate.
