This gel does work but nothing works overnight, have to use it a few times but it does improve the stains. I have put this on, and left it overnight, then washed it off the next day, doesn't hurt them. My dog licks it, can't help it, as on her beard too, as she is a Shit Tzu show dog and has a white beard. But, they are the same thing, they just took the name off it.
