The mic still works like new, and the magnets hold the microphone just fine. Tip: define the best placement for the magnet to hold the mic to your headphones, attach the magnet to the microphone and take off the tape that covers the back are the magnet and exposes the sticky side. With the magnet attached to the other magnet on the microphone, put your headphones on and attach the sticky magnet onto your preferred side.
