And what tools and materials needed to mount it or to put it up?** A: Yes, it is suitable for outside. You will need a bracket and possibly guide wires to mount - depends on location. Instructions are not the best. After you extend the pole, you will need to align the holes from section to section and you are provided some medal pens to maintain alignment.
