Buy the bucket, not the resealable bag. *by A***R on September 21, 2021* See my attached videos and photos to see the difference I had purchased a couple different sizes/colors to use in my preschool classroom for in a sensory bin this week. I bought both the 1.5LB bucket(blue raspberry scent) and the 3LB resealable bag (purple). The slimy sand in the BUCKET (scented kind) was perfect. It felt like kinetic sand, but was stretchy like slime. It held together nicely and was very moldable. It was not sticky and it did not fall apart. However!!!! The slimy sand in the bag did NOT stretch at all, it didn't even stay together, you couldn't mold it or do anything with it because it all fell apart. It was very grity, it felt AND LOOKED like there was sugar on my hands after I was finished handling it. It also left a mess behind on my counter, even though I never took it out of the bag. I handled it over the top of my hand with caution. I had gotten the 3LB bag so I could have 3 students at a time doing the sensory station with me, so it's disappointing that I am not able to use it. But, I am SO glad I bought the bucket! Might order another bucket, but will definitely be staying away from buying the big bags.
