For consumer safety we've air sealed all straw lids, so you just need to run the straw brush through the mouthpiece to break the seal before initial use. 2. If you've already broken the seal, sometimes the straw is positioned too close to the bottom of the bottle. I came across this one and wasn't sure I'd like it because I didn't need all the added accessories and also the price point. but seeing as this was the closet I could get to my last bottle colour, I decided to just get it. All I can say is that I'm glad that I got it. The colour is beautiful. the only thing I didn't like due to preference is the straw lid, even though it looked pretty, I prefer the other one for a more satisfying flow. But other than that, it's perfect. I've never had to use the mobile phone carrier to carry my phone because I'd rather not. The straps are great for carrying it around. I have just noticed my sleeve getting a bit dirty so I put it in the washing machine for a 16min wash, and it came out like new!
