As long as your 12 battery has power. **Q: Will this inverter run a 1500 water heater on a boat fitted with two 125 ah batteries?** A: Tried mine with a 1800w blow heater with no problem **Q: will it run a 1500w water heater on a boat fitted with two 125ah batteries** A: Explanation from my electrician husband: a fully charged battery is 12.6 volts. 12.2 volts indicates 50% remains and 12 volts is almost dead. If you go below this, it will damage the batteries. A 1500W water heater will therefore rapidly discharge the batteries, even though there are 2 of them, so you need to monitor the voltage carefully - the inverter has a voltage indicator on it.
