This isn't as amazing as homemade mole -- and I should add that there are as many different variations on mole as there are covers of "Stardust" -- but it is terrific in a pinch. When you consider that no one ever has time to make mole anymore (it takes DAYS to do it right), then it's always a pinch, so this is always terrific. I just plop a cup of it into chicken stew for instant yum.

Authentic, delicious, just like what we had at the Riviera Maya. I was able to recreate some dishes we enjoyed while on vacation and send the brand name on to family to order for their kitchen needs

I prepared traditional turkey Poblano style for a Cinco de Mayo book club meeting. My friends thought I made the sauce from scratch as I once did so about 15 years ago. No one detected that my sauce came in a jar!  It tasted so good and I did not spend days finding the multiple ingredients and hours at the stove preparing mole Poblano. Thank you Barcelona Sauces.
