White bread setting. Dial at 3 and it came out beautifully golden, evenly gold & crispy.It was my home made white loaf. Slice was about 3/4 of an inch. I will add more over time.P.S The dimensions are wrong on Sage website, Amazon and any review that’s just copied the dimensions from the manufacturers website. It says that it’s H 34.1cm, W 20.9cm, D 20cm. The height and width are muddled up. It is definitely not 34.1 CM high or you would have very little room under the cupboards above the worktop to get the toast in an out.
